Ingredients:

  • 260 g (9.17 oz) all-purpose flour - over 1.5 cups
  • 250 ml (8.45 fl oz) slightly warm milk - 1 cup
  • 25 grams (0.88 oz) fresh yeast or 7 g instant yeast
  • 40 g (1.41 oz) sugar - about 3 tablespoons
  • 1 medium or larger egg
  • about 300 g (10.58 oz) fresh strawberries
  • a small pinch of salt
  • oil or clarified butter for frying
  • powdered sugar for dusting ready pancakes

Instructions:

  1. Prepare all ingredients. Measure out 260 grams of flour.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the milk, yeast, sugar and some of the flour. Set aside for 20 minutes.
  3. Add the egg, the rest of the flour and a pinch of salt. Mix and knead the dough for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rise for 20 minutes.
  5. Put portions of batter on a hot pan and place strawberry slices on them.
  6. Fry pancakes on both sides until golden brown.
  7. Serve finished pancakes sprinkled with powdered sugar.
