Ingredients:

  • 3 large pears
  • 250g (8.8oz) wheat flour
  • 200g (7oz) sugar
  • 125g (4.4oz) butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Peel the pears, remove the seeds and cut into thin slices.
  2. Melt the butter and set aside to cool.
