Apple and Nut Cake: A Dessert Full of Consolation and Richness of Taste

Ingredients:
- 225g (8oz) flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
- 100g (3.5oz) walnuts, chopped
- 150g (5.3oz) butter, melted
- 200g (7oz) sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 500g (1.1lb) apples, peeled and thinly sliced
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour the baking form.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and chopped nuts.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Add wet ingredients to dry and mix until ingredients are combined. Add chopped apples and mix gently.
- Transfer the dough to the prepared form. Bake for about 50-60 minutes until the pastry is golden and the tester comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool, then cut into pieces and serve.
