Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas
- 200g wheat flour (7oz)
- 150g sugar (5.3oz)
- 125g butter (4.4oz)
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C (356 degrees F). Prepare the baking pan by greasing it with butter and dusting it with flour.
- In a bowl, beat the butter with the sugar until creamy. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
- Peel the bananas and mash them into a mousse. Add to the bowl with the butter and eggs.
- Sift the flour, baking powder and soda into a bowl. Gently mix the ingredients.
- Transfer the dough to the prepared form. Place in the oven and bake for about 60 minutes, until the cake is golden and a skewer comes out clean when inserted into the center of the cake.
- Allow the cake to cool before slicing.
