Fruit tart is a dessert that always makes an impression on the table. Colorful fruits catch the eye, and their taste goes perfectly with the delicate cream and shortcrust pastry. This is a dessert proposal for the whole family, perfect for a summer afternoon or as a tasty accent during family gatherings.

Ingredients:

  • 200g (7oz) flour
  • 100g (3.5oz) butter
  • 50g (1.7oz) sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Pinch of salt
  • 500g (17.6oz) fruit (e.g. blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
  • 200g (7oz) cream (e.g. mascarpone , cream)
  • 50g (1.7oz) powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. Pour the flour into a bowl, add the butter, sugar, egg and a pinch of salt. We knead the dough.
  2. Wrap the finished dough in foil and place in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  3. Take the dough out of the fridge, roll it out and place it on a tart pan.
  4. Place in the oven preheated to 180°C (356°F) and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. In the meantime, prepare the cream - mix it with powdered sugar.
  6. After the crust is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool.
  7. Spread the cream on the cooled bottom, and arrange the fruit on top.
