Ingredients:

Dough:

  • 2 ½ cups almond flour
  • ¼ cup erythritol (or other keto sweetener)
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup room temperature butter
  • 2 eggs

Filling:

  • 2 cups chopped walnuts
  • ¼ cup erythritol (or other keto sweetener)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup water

Syrup:

  • ½ cup erythritol (or other keto sweetener)
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) before starting.
  2. In a large bowl, mix almond flour, erythritol, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add butter and eggs to the bowl of dry ingredients. Mix everything together until a uniform dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough to a countertop and knead it for a few minutes until it becomes elastic.
  5. Divide the dough into two equal parts.
