Ingredients:

  • 5 pickled cucumbers
  • 1.5 liters of water
  • 300g potatoes (10.5oz)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 100g white sausage (3.5oz)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Chop the onion and garlic finely. Peel the potatoes and dice them. Cut the sausage into small pieces. Cut cucumbers into thin strips.
  2. In a large pot, heat the butter, add the onion and garlic. Fry until they turn golden.
  3. Add the sausage and fry for a few minutes until it starts to brown slightly.
  4. Add cucumbers and potatoes, fry for another few minutes.
  5. Add water, season with salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
  6. After cooking, the soup can be blended smooth or left in pieces - it depends on your preference.
