Ingredients:

  • 300g (10.5oz) salmon fillet
  • 1 teaspoon real butter
  • A pinch of freshly ground pepper and salt
  • 130 ml (4.4 fl oz) stock (e.g. chicken or vegetable)
  • 50 ml (1.7 fl oz) Łaciata UHT cream 12%
  • 1 tablespoon (about 15g/0.5oz) wheat flour
  • A handful of fresh, chopped dill
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Spices: 1/3 level teaspoon salt; 1/4 level teaspoon white pepper; pinch of turmeric

Instructions:

  1. Make a delicate dill sauce. In a small bowl, mix the cream and flour.
  2. Pour the stock into the pan, add spices and bring to a boil.
  3. Pour the cream and flour into the broth while stirring the contents of the pan.
  4. Add lemon juice and cook the sauce until it starts to thicken.
  5. Add fresh dill to the sauce.
  6. Remove the skin from the salmon fillet and cut it into pieces.
  7. Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the pieces of salmon for about 1.5-2 minutes per side.
