Ingredients:
- 4 slices of pork loin (approx. 800g / 28oz)
- 2 eggs
- 200g (7oz) breadcrumbs
- salt pepper
- frying oil
- 1 head of cabbage (approx. 1kg / 35oz)
- 1 large onion (approx. 150g / 5.3oz)
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- salt pepper
- a teaspoon of sugar
- a spoonful of apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
- Start by preparing the pork chop. Pound the pork slices gently with a meat mallet, then season with salt and pepper. Dip each slice first in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the pork chops over medium heat until golden on both sides. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
- Now start preparing the cabbage. Slice the cabbage into thin strips. Cut the onion into a fine dice.
- Heat the butter in a large skillet, add the onion and fry until translucent. Then add cabbage, salt, pepper, sugar and apple cider vinegar. Mix everything thoroughly.
- Cover the pan and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes, until the cabbage is soft. Stir occasionally so it doesn't burn.
- Serve the pork chops warm with the cabbage. Enjoy your meal!
