Ingredients:

  • 250 grams (8.8oz) of dry pasta, e.g. Pappardelle
  • 2 small cans of tuna in brine or oil
  • 200 grams (7oz) cherry tomatoes
  • 70 grams (2.5oz) black olives
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 10 tablespoons of fine olive oil
  • juice of half a lemon
  • a handful of chopped parsley
  • spices: half a teaspoon each of salt and black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Prepare all ingredients.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package directions.
  3. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan and add the sliced garlic. Fry for a minute.
  4. Add the halved cherry tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cook for three minutes.
  5. Add canned tuna (no pickle) and chopped parsley to pasta.
  6. Mix everything together and serve warm, sprinkled with olives and a drizzle of lemon juice.
