Ingredients:
- 250 g (9 oz) minced meat
- 12 cannelloni
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, pressed through a press
- 400 g tomato passata (14.4 oz)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
- 200 g mozzarella cheese, grated (7.2 oz)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Boil lightly salted water in a large pot. Add cannelloni and cook for 5-7 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Add onion and garlic, fry for 3-4 minutes until soft and slightly glazed.
- Add minced meat and fry until well done and not pink.
- Add tomato passata, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
