Pasta with garlic sauce

Ingredients:

  • 500g (17.6oz) spaghetti noodles
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 50ml (1.7 fl oz) olive oil
  • 200ml (6.8 fl oz) cream 30%
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • spoon of chopped parsley
  • 100g (3.5oz) grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta al dente according to the instructions on the package.
  2. In the meantime, peel the garlic, chop finely and fry in a pan with olive oil, but be careful not to burn it.
  3. Once the garlic starts to smell, add the cream, salt and pepper, then cook over medium heat, stirring until the sauce starts to thicken.
  4. Drain the cooked pasta, but keep some of the cooking water. Add the pasta to the sauce and mix well. If the sauce is too thick, add some of the pasta cooking water.
  5. Finally, sprinkle the pasta with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
