Ingredients:

  • 600 g (21 oz) pork (e.g., pork chop, pork neck, or pork shoulder)
  • 4 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 4 allspice berries
  • 600 ml (20 oz) broth or water
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Divide the pork into four slices. Pound the slices to a thickness of 1/2 centimeter using a meat tenderizer. Then season with salt and pepper, and coat with flour.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the pork on both sides until golden brown. Transfer the cutlets to a plate. Then, in the remaining fat, sauté the diced onion until it has a deep golden color.
  3. Add crushed garlic, bay leaves, allspice berries, and pour in the broth or water. Simmer covered over low heat until the meat is tender, about 30-35 minutes. Then, mix the remaining flour from coating the meat with a little cold water. Pour the water and flour mixture into the cutlets, stir, and bring to a boil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Pork cutlets are undoubtedly one of the best and easiest dinner recipes. It is a perfect dish for busy individuals with limited free time. The recipe is recommended for preparing a Sunday dinner, for example.
