Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of boiled potatoes (35.3 oz)
  • 1 medium egg
  • 2 level tablespoons of wheat flour (0.7 oz)
  • 2 flat tablespoons of potato starch (0.7 oz)
  • half a teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • 500 g mushrooms (17.6 oz)
  • 100 g (3.5 oz) cheese
  • large onion - 160 g (5.6 oz)
  • 300 g sauerkraut (10.6 oz)
  • a teaspoon of sugar (for cooking cabbage)
  • 6 tablespoons of oil
  • spices: half a teaspoon each of salt and sweet paprika, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions:

  1. Boil the potatoes, then pass them through a meat grinder or potato ricer.
  2. Add the egg, flour, potato starch, salt and pepper to the potatoes. Mix everything thoroughly.
  3. Prepare the stuffing: cook the sauerkraut with sugar, then squeeze it from excess water and chop it. Grate the mushrooms, chop the onion and fry it in a pan with oil. Add the mushrooms and cabbage, and finally the tarts yellow cheese and spices.
  4. Form the potato mass into balls, flatten them into a cake, put the stuffing in the middle, then close and form croquettes.
  5. Coat each croquette in breadcrumbs, then fry in a pan with oil.
