The ingredients that are needed to prepare it, we usually have at home, and their combination gives the effect of a tasty and filling dish. What is important, corn salad is a universal dish - it will work both as a separate meal and as an addition to meat or fish. In addition, it is a perfect solution for people on a diet - it is light, low in calories, and at the same time filling. Corn, which is the main ingredient of this salad, is a source of many valuable nutrients. It is rich in B vitamins, which have a positive effect on the functioning of the nervous system, as well as in fiber, which supports proper digestion.
Ingredients:
- 1 can of corn (about 340g (12oz))
- 1 medium onion (about 150g (5.3oz))
- 1 red pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 1 can red kidney beans (about 400g (14.1oz))
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions:
- Open the can with corn and beans, drain them from the brine.
- Dice the onion and peppers into small pieces.
