Potato and Spinach Casserole: Combination of Taste and Health
Potato and spinach casserole is a dish that fits perfectly into the lifestyle of people looking for a balance between taste and health. Ingredients:
- 1kg (35oz) potatoes
- 300g (10.5oz) fresh spinach
- 200g (7oz) cheese
- 2 onions
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 200ml (6.8 fl oz) cream 18%
- 3 tbsp (1.5 fl oz) butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Peel the potatoes and boil them in salted water. After cooking, cool and cut into slices.
- Peel the onion and garlic, then finely chop. Wash and dry the spinach.
- Heat the butter in a pan, add the chopped onion and garlic, fry until the onion becomes glassy. Add spinach and fry until wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C (356 degrees F). In a casserole, put a layer of potatoes, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and then put a layer of spinach and onions. Repeat until you run out of ingredients, ending with a layer of potatoes.
- Spread the cream evenly over the casserole, then sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes until the cheese is melted and browned.
