- 260 g (9.17 oz) all-purpose flour - over 1.5 cups
- 250 ml (8.45 fl oz) slightly warm milk - 1 cup
- 25 grams (0.88 oz) fresh yeast or 7 g instant yeast
- 40 g (1.41 oz) sugar - about 3 tablespoons
- 1 medium or larger egg
- about 300 g (10.58 oz) fresh strawberries
- a small pinch of salt
- oil or clarified butter for frying
- powdered sugar for dusting ready pancakes
- Prepare all ingredients. Measure out 260 grams of flour.
- In a large bowl, mix the milk, yeast, sugar and some of the flour. Set aside for 20 minutes.
- Add the egg, the rest of the flour and a pinch of salt. Mix and knead the dough for 2-3 minutes.
