Preparing a pork neck roll requires a bit more time and commitment than everyday dishes, but the end result definitely compensates for these efforts. - 1 kg pork neck (about 2.2 lbs )
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil (30ml / 1oz)
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons of dried rosemary
- Meat rolling skewer
- Wash the pork neck, dry it and cut it in such a way as to get a flat piece of meat.
- Peel the garlic and chop finely. Mix it with olive oil, salt, pepper and rosemary.
- Rub the meat on both sides with the marinade prepared in this way, and then roll it into a roulade.
- We use a skewer to protect the roll from falling apart during baking.
- Bake the roulade in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for about 90 minutes, until the meat is soft and juicy. From time to time, pour the roulade with sauces that arose during baking.
- Remove the finished roulade from the oven and let it cool down for a few minutes before slicing it.
