- 250g (8.8oz) pasta
- 500g (17.6oz) mushrooms
- 1 onion (approx. 150g, 5.3oz)
- 2 garlic cloves (approx. 10g, 0.35oz)
- 250ml (8.5 fl oz) 18% cream
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt, pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Cook the pasta al dente according to the instructions on the package.
- Clean the mushrooms, cut into slices. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
- Heat the oil in a pan, add the onion and garlic, fry until the onion becomes glassy.
- Add the mushrooms and fry until they release their juices and start to brown.
- Add cream, thyme, salt and pepper, cook over low heat for about 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix gently.
