  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 chili pepper, chopped (optional)
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 400g (14oz) canned chopped tomatoes
  • 400g (14oz) canned red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil. Add onion, garlic, and chili pepper (if using). Sauté for 2-3 minutes until they become soft.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until it is fully cooked and lightly browned.
