- 500g (17.5oz) ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 chili pepper, chopped (optional)
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 400g (14oz) canned chopped tomatoes
- 400g (14oz) canned red kidney beans, drained
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste

- In a large pot, heat olive oil. Add onion, garlic, and chili pepper (if using). Sauté for 2-3 minutes until they become soft.
