- Sponge cake:
- 6 eggs (approx. 60g/2.1oz each)
- 1 cup (200g/7oz) sugar
- 1 cup (125g/4.4oz) wheat flour
- 1/2 cup (65g/2.3oz) potato flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- vanilla cream:
- 1/2 liter (16.9fl oz) milk
- 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 1 stick of vanilla
- 2 yolks
- 1/2 cup (100g/3.5oz) sugar
- Chocolate topping:
- 200g (7oz) dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup (4.2fl oz) 30% cream
- Prepare the sponge cake: beat the egg whites until stiff, gradually adding sugar. Then add the yolks and mix gently.
- Add the sifted wheat flour, potato flour and baking powder to the egg mixture. Mix everything until you get a homogeneous mass.
