- 6 tablespoons of barley groats, e.g. farmhouse - 80 g (2.8oz)

- 1 medium carrot - about 160 g (5.6 oz)
- 1 smaller parsley root - about 100 g (3.5 oz)
- 1 small onion or leek slice - 80 g (2.8 oz)
