- 2 trout, cleaned (about 300g (10.5oz) each)
- 1 lemon
- 4 sprigs of fresh dill
- 4 sprigs of fresh thyme
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil (approx. 30ml)
- salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Clean the trout, rinse and pat dry.
- Peel the garlic and chop finely.
- Cut the lemon into thin slices.
- Put a few slices of lemon, a sprig of dill and thyme on a piece of aluminum foil. Put the trout on it. Place extra lemon slices, garlic and herbs inside the trout.
- Drizzle the fish with olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Wrap the foil to form airtight packages.
- Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
- Check if the fish is ready - it should be tender and come off the bone easily.
